   Standard flagpoles are usually used as an element of permanent
   exposition in front of shopping centres, municipal offices
   or company headquarters. Together with a flag on top they form
   a part of company's visual identification system or are used
   in product marketing.

Depending on a type, flagpoles can consist of one or several segments made of durable materials, such as aluminium or GRP.

Flagpoles are fitted with an external or internal halyard (the latter being additionally lock-protected).
